I don't think I have ever been so happy to see spring come! After weeks of cold wetness, blue skies and sunshine erupted yesterday and are back again today. Lucy and I went to Seven Islands Wildlife Sanctuary yesterday. Many people were there, many families, many with their dogs, all smiles. The wetlands area near the river was filled to the brim with frogs, an orgy of croaking, almost deafening. Up on the ridge, completely in the open, was a herd of deer.

The deer are well camouflaged so enlarge and look closely.
“Never yet was a springtime when the buds forgot to bloom.”
